Animal Krackers Pet Center was founded in Evergreen Park in 1995. After working in pet stores since a very young age Carl Kogut opened up the first Animal Krackers at 95th and Kedzie. When the building that housed Animal Krackers was due to be demolished Carl moved Animal Krackers to 115th and Kedzie. It is now home to the largest independent family owned pet store in the Chicago land area. The move allowed them to expand on supplies and create the nicest fish room around. It is sure to be a fun shopping experience for the whole family.
